That is so true. I don't like hurting people, but I don't like lying to them all the time.

This originally didn't come out from me being hurtful consciously. It was more of a stupid conversation that turned nasty because I said in a joking tone "what planet are you from?" The person didn't get the joke and all went downhill from there.

I rather say things as I believe them, rather than being all sugar coated and telling you what you want to hear.

Yeah, any conversation goes downhill when you're talking to someone that can't take a joke.
